Book review – Steve Jobs the man who thought different

As you probably guessed the book tells about Steve Jobs life and how he revolutionised the computer business with Apple, and the computer animated movie business with Pixar. He was a real inventor.

But that information is not going to help me whit my project, so that’s why I had to read between the lines in the book to find the things that motivates me. One of those things is that Jobs failed several times during his career, and this is a reminder that you have to fail before you can succeed. The hard thing is to not be afraid of failing and to not give up when you have failed. In the book Jobs also mentioned that he learned much more from failing than from succeeding.

Another important thing is that you should do what you love to do. Jobs loved Apple and that’s why he worked so hard to make Apple what it is to day.

This is some of the things I learned from this book. Now I want to go out there and fail and learn from that, so that I can be successful and do what I love.

I’m going to read a book called Steve Jobs the man who thought different. This is a biography written by Karen Blumenthal. The reason I chose this book is that I’m not the kind of person who likes to read, so I had to choose something interesting and hopefully inspiring.

Hi!

I am Marcus Ruokolahti and I am 23 years old, and studying business administration at Novia University of applied sciences. I am on my second year at Novia, so I still have a few years left before I graduate as a Bachelor of Business Administration. When I am not studying I like to work out at the gym, chill with my friends and listen to music. I know this is a short and boring presentation but I am not that comfortable whit sharing information on the Internet.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you about the Inno 58 project, which I am really looking forward too. A friend of mine told me about the project, and convinced me to sign up. So I did. I hope that I will learn a lot of new stuff during this project, and that I will meet lots of new interesting people.

Working day at TuAMK

Today was the first working day off Inno 58. During the day we have done research about our client and the market they operate in. We have also worked on our own Action Plan for this project, and we have of course checked out all the literature that everybody brought with them. It has been a really interesting first working day at Inno 58. Thank you all! Now we have some work to do.

The action plan is ready!

Eräänä lumisena maaliskuun päivänä kokoontui lauma turkulaisia korkeakouluopiskelijoita samaan tilaan, ja tästä villistä laumasta eräät valioyksilöt muodostivat oman joukkueensa, jolle annettiin nimi Team SJM³eli Sanni, Jessica, Marcus, Minttu ja Maria.
